Braun Green Smoothies

We try to make these smoothies at least once a week! They’re delicious and nutritious. Over the years we’ve played with the ingredients, and we’ve finally landed on our favorite version, which you will find below. But feel free to change things around until you find your favorite version!

Yields approx. 6 cups

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups frozen fruit (our go-to is the Daybreak Blend from Costco!)

  • 1 cup frozen spinach, kale, etc

  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder (we like the Orgain brand)

  • 2 scoops collagen peptides (we use the Vital Protein brand)

  • 4 tbsp PB2 Powder

  • 4 tbsp ground superfood mix (with chia, flax seed and hemp)

  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt

  • 2 cups almond milk (approximately)

Directions

  1. In the order listed above, place all ingredients in a blender. Finish by filling up the blender with almond milk until it fills all the nooks and crannies and covers the ingredients.

  2. Blend on medium for 1 minute

  3. Blend on high for 30 seconds.
