Breakfast Casserole

This is a family favorite from the Braun’s that we are so excited to share with you!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)

  • 10 -12 slices of bread, cubed

  • 1/2 lb cubed colby cheese

  • 1 lb pork sausage, browned

  • 5 eggs

  • 2 cups milk

  • Salt

  • Pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch pan.

  2. Make a layer of half the bread and half the cheese.

  3. Sprinkle all the sausage and then remaining bread and cheese. Press down.

  4. Beat together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over top. Refrigerate overnight.

  5. The next day pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake casserole for 1 hour.

  6. Let cool slightly before cutting and serving.

  7. Enjoy!
